This is a 12 year old Tomatin single malt from the Gordon & MacPhail Discovery range. It is a 2011 Tomatin, matured in Bourbon casks and bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is smooth and sweet, with intense honey followed by fragrant pear and spring blossom. On the palate, melon and peach lead into vanilla custard. The finish carries a hint of oak with a herbal edge.
