This is a 10 year old Irish single malt from the Great Northern Distillery in Dundalk, distilled in 2015, the distillery's first year of operation, and bottled in 2025. It was matured in a barrel and is bottled at 57.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is the 18th release in The Ultimate Spirits' Trickster series. The label shows Morrigan, the goddess of battle, victory and prophecy in Irish Celtic mythology.
The nose has fruit candy, green apple, pear brandy, vanilla, meringue and granola with milk. The palate brings green banana, papaya, peanut butter cookies, cinnamon roll and lemongrass, with an oily body that turns dry and spicy. The finish carries barley sugar, oak leaves and green tea, with a minty freshness.
