Green River Honey Finished is a Kentucky straight bourbon finished with real honey, bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof) in a 75cl bottle. It is built on four-year-old straight bourbon.
The honey adds natural sweetness and a richer texture while the bourbon character of vanilla, caramel, toasted oak and warm spice stays in the foreground.
The nose is of wildflower honey, vanilla, toasted oak and caramel. On the palate there is toffee sweetness, honeyed warmth, gentle spice and soft oak. The finish is smooth and lingering, with honey, vanilla and a warm bourbon fade.
