Haddock 2005 is a 12 year old peated single malt bottled by Wilson & Morgan at 56.8% ABV. It was distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2018, in an outturn of 792 bottles.
The whisky was matured in two unpeated ex-sherry casks and one medium-peated ex-Bourbon cask. The light peat adds liveliness and a little fire to the soft, fruity, sweet Oloroso-matured whisky.
On the palate, honey and raisins sit alongside the fruity, gently peated malt. The finish is dry and spicy, with tannin, candied orange peel, citrus and beeswax.
