Hakushu 18 Year Old is a Japanese single malt from the Southern Japan Alps, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is an original distillery bottling, with no added colouring and no chill-filtration.
The colour is deep gold. The nose brings ripe pear, dried mint and oregano with a hint of smoke. On the palate come jasmine, mango, quince and menthol. The finish is long and gently smoky, with a touch of bitterness.
