Hakushu Japanese Forest Bittersweet Edition is a Japanese whisky from the Hakushu distillery, part of Suntory. It is sweetly complex yet sprightly, with a balanced bitterness reminiscent of espresso. Notes of Manuka honey, orange marmalade and cacao run through it, and the flavour lingers. It is the first of what are intended to be many batches.
