A 2024 limited edition single malt from Hakushu, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The malt was matured in bourbon casks and blended into a light, sweet and smoky Hakushu character. The label design depicts the distillery.
The distillery was due to undergo renovation in 2023, marking 50 years since its completion, and the 2024 design shows it as it begins to move towards the future.
Light amber in colour, it has a nose of pineapple, vanilla cream and roasted green tea. The palate is light, soft and sweet like wasanbon, with a slight bitterness, and the finish carries the smoke of embers and the same bitterness.
