Hamiltons Lowland Blended Malt (70cl, 40%)

Hamiltons Lowland is a blended malt made from selected single malts from the Scottish Lowlands, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle by Charles Hamilton Ltd. of Glasgow. It is not smoky, has no added colour and is chill-filtered. It belongs to the Hamiltons range of regional bottlings, which also covers Speyside, the Highlands and Islay. The nose is led by summer and white flowers, with light malt sweetness, vanilla, hay and a restrained citrus note. The palate is soft and balanced, with butterscotch and cooked apples, light oak spice and a pinch of cocoa. The finish is long, leaving honeycomb and lemon peel.
