Haran 12 Year Old Cider Cask Finish Basque Malt Whiskey (70cl, 43%)

Haran 12 Year Old is a Basque single malt from Destilerías Acha, finished in cider casks. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, in an edition of 2,982 bottles. For its Haran whiskeys, the distillery matures the spirit in Iberian, American and French oak, and uses water from the area where the Nervión rises. The cider cask finish is part of this edition. The nose brings stewed apple, fragrant oak and malty sweetness. On the palate cinnamon and nutmeg meet vanilla and green apple, and the finish shows caramelised nuts and dried apricot.
