Harveys Bristol Cream Sherry (1.5L, 17.5%)

This is a cream sherry from Jerez, Spain, made by John Harvey & Sons and bottled at 17.5% in a 1.5 litre bottle. It blends Fino, Amontillado, Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez wines drawn from over 30 solera barrels. The blend is 80% Palomino and 20% Pedro Ximénez and ages for a minimum of three years in American oak. The nose is caramelised apple and raisin with toffee, nuts and a hint of orange rind. The palate is rich with raisin, stewed plum, toasted almond, walnut and vanilla. The finish is full and velvety, with toffee and dried fruit.
