Hatozaki Small Batch Pure Malt Japanese Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Hatozaki Small Batch Pure Malt is a Japanese malt whisky from the Kaikyō Distillery range, in a 70cl bottle. It combines single malts of five to six years old and is made in small batches of fewer than 20 casks. Maturation uses ex-bourbon, ex-sherry and Japanese Mizunara oak casks. It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring. The nose is sweet malt, dried fruit and honey, with cereal and aromatic wood. The palate has rich malt, toasted cereal, dried fruit, honey and gentle spice. The finish carries light smoke and honey, with lingering malt and dried fruit.
