This is the 2026 release of Hazelburn 10 Year Old, a Campbeltown single malt from Springbank Distillery. It is unpeated and triple-distilled, and comes in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
The whisky was matured primarily in ex-bourbon casks, which leave Hazelburn's light, fruity spirit at the front, with orchard fruit, creamy vanilla, sweet malt and gentle oak.
The nose has apple crumble, vanilla cream and honeyed barley, with lemon zest and malted biscuit. The palate is smooth and gently sweet, with vanilla sponge, poached pear, toffee and a little coconut. The finish is clean and creamy, with soft spice and gentle oak.
