Headframe Neversweat Bourbon (75cl, 40%)

Neversweat is a straight bourbon from Headframe Spirits in Butte, Montana, bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It takes its name from the Neversweat Mine, one of the city's copper-era headframes. The mashbill is 70% corn, 15% wheat and 15% rye, and the spirit is made on a custom-designed continuous flow distillation system rather than in batches. The nose brings vanilla, oak, caramel and a malty sweetness. On the palate there is corn sweetness and soft butterscotch, with a light peppery note from the rye. The finish is moderate, with a hint of chewing tobacco, oak and vanilla.
