Neversweat is a Bottled in Bond bourbon distilled and bottled by Headframe Spirits in Butte, Montana, at 50% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Bottled in Bond means a single distillery and distilling season, at least four years in a bonded warehouse, and bottling at 100 proof. The mashbill is 70% corn, 15% wheat and 15% rye, and the name refers to the historic Neversweat Mine. The nose is heavy with malt and corn, then caramel and vanilla. Corn sweetness opens the palate, followed by caramel, vanilla, building rye spice and butterscotch. The finish is medium to long, with a trace of chewing tobacco and lingering butterscotch.
