A German single malt from the Hercynian Distilling Co. in Zorge, in the Harz region, released as the Heartgow Autumn 2026 edition. It was bottled in 2026 at 48% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
The whisky matured in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks and PX sherry casks, along with octaves. The distillery has been making whisky in the Harz since 2002.
The nose brings peach, banana, mandarin, caramel and chocolate, with light smoke. The palate offers ripe fruit, sweetness, caramel, spicy touches and a little smoke. The finish carries woodsmoke, gentle sweetness and a rounded close.
