Heartgow Spring 2026 Hercynian Single Malt (70cl, 48%)

Heartgow Spring 2026 is a German single malt from Hercynian Distilling Co. in the Harz, bottled at 48% as part of a Seasonal Collection made for Kirsch Import. Only 384 bottles were filled. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The whisky matured in first fill Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry hogsheads, together with quarter casks and octaves. The different sherry cask sizes bring dried fruit, peach, orange, toffee and chocolate to the malt. On the nose it shows raisins, dried fruit, sherry, peach and orange. The palate offers fruit, toffee, chocolate and espresso, and the finish runs medium to long with a sweet, spicy sherry note.
