Heaven's Door Double Barrel is an American whiskey created by Bob Dylan together with Marc Bushala, founder of Angel's Envy, in a 140-year-old church in Tennessee. It is a blend of three American whiskeys, each put through the Lincoln County Process, charcoal filtering, before going into cask.
The blend spent six years in ex-bourbon barrels, followed by a further year in new American oak. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is oak and pipe tobacco with honey, vanilla and caramel. The palate is spicy and full, with nutmeg, pepper and cloves, and the finish is long, with spice, vanilla and wood smoke.
