Heaven's Door is the bourbon brand created by Bob Dylan with Marc Bushala, founder of Angel's Envy. This is a single barrel bottling, barrel number 29008, in a 70cl bottle at 61.1% ABV.
The mash bill is 77% corn, 15% rye and 8% malted barley. It matured for over five years in new American oak barrels with a level 4 (alligator) char.
The nose brings apricot, caramel and fresh herbs, with corn, popcorn and a light citrus note. On the palate come sweet vanilla, toasted oak and toffee. The finish is long and round, with oak, vanilla, a hint of apricot and baked bread.
