Heaven's Door – Straight Rye Whiskey (70cl, 43%)

Heaven's Door Straight Rye Whiskey is an American rye bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was developed with Bob Dylan. The rye matured for 6 years in new American oak casks, then spent 6 months in a heavily charred cigar barrel made from French oak from the Vosges. That finish adds sweetness to the spicy rye character and softens the whiskey. The nose is complex, with spice and tropical fruit. The palate is layered and balanced, with fragrant orange peel, strong coriander and spice. The finish is long, fruity and spicy.
