Hepp – Tharcis Sherry Cask

Hepp Tharcis is a French whisky, distilled entirely in Alsace, and aged for six years. Twenty per cent of it matured in American oak casks and the other eighty per cent in Oloroso sherry casks. The Sherry Cask character is pronounced in this cuvée, which the producer expects to surprise drinkers of Scotch malts. It is described as having a depth of vanilla aromas. The palate is smooth and unctuous, with candied pear and light caramel.
