Hibiki 12 Year Old Travel Exclusive is a blended Japanese whisky from Suntory, released in 2026 for the travel retail market. It returns the 12 Year Old to the range after an absence since 2015. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The blend uses malt whisky from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries with grain whisky from Chita, matured in American oak, Spanish oak and Mizunara oak casks. Shinji Fukuyo, the fifth chief blender, re-imagined it. The bottle keeps the 24-faceted shape, now with a new design inspired by nature.
On the nose there is sandalwood from the Mizunara, with pear, apple and honey sweetness.
