This is a 17-year-old Japanese blended whisky from Hibiki, part of the Suntory range, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The expression has been discontinued.
The nose combines sweet fruit, floral notes and a hint of oak over honey and caramel. The palate has rich honey, dark chocolate and dried fruits, with subtle spice and a touch of smoke, giving a rounded mouthfeel. The finish is long and warming, with vanilla, oak and gentle spice.
