Hibiki 30 Year Old Suntory Japanese Blended Whisky (75cl, 43%)

Hibiki 30 Year Old is a Japanese blended whisky from Suntory, combining malt from Yamazaki and Hakushu with grain from Chita. Every whisky in the blend has spent at least three decades in cask, drawn from American white oak, Spanish oak sherry casks and Mizunara oak. It is presented in a 24-facet crystal decanter with an individually numbered washi paper label, in a burgundy presentation box with a booklet. The nose offers dried fruit, leather, sandalwood and incense. The palate is rich and layered, with brown sugar, apricot jam, raisin, dark chocolate and gingerbread. The finish is exceptionally long, with cinnamon, aged oak and Mizunara.
