Hibiki Blender's Choice (70cl, 43%)

Hibiki Blender's Choice is a Japanese blended whisky from Suntory, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It combines malt and grain whiskies from the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries, with the whiskies in the blend ranging from 12 to 30 years old. It was released in September 2018. It comes in the 24-faceted Hibiki bottle, each facet representing an element of Japanese nature and culture. The nose is floral with cooked fruit, blackberry, ripe banana and a touch of caramel. The palate brings sandalwood, honeycomb and dried apricot, with Mizunara oak character, and the finish is smooth, with honey and fruit.
