Hibiki Blossom Harmony is a limited edition Japanese blend from Suntory, bottled in 2022 at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It combines malt and grain whiskies, finished in Sakura, or cherry blossom, wood casks.
This is the first time the Hibiki blend has been aged in Sakura casks, and one of Suntory's first releases to use the experimental wood.
The nose brings rose petals, lychee, rosemary, sandalwood and mature oak. On the palate come honey, candied orange peel, white chocolate and Mizunara oak, which linger into the finish.
