Hibiki Harmony (70cl, 43%)

Hibiki Harmony is a Japanese blended whisky from the Hibiki range, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It combines malt whisky from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries with grain whisky from Chita. The whiskies come from five types of cask, among them American white oak, sherry and Mizunara oak. The blend was put together by the Suntory blending team under Master Blender Shingo Torii. The nose offers red berries, green apple and rich honey. On the palate come melted butter and caramelised dates, with a hint of sandalwood leading into warming, oaky spice. The finish brings brown sugar, citrus peel, white grape and black pepper.
