Nikka Miyagikyo 10 Year Old is a Japanese single malt from the Miyagikyo Distillery in Miyagi Prefecture. It is the first age-stated Miyagikyo released since 2015, a 2026 reintroduction made from batches matured for a minimum of 10 years. The allocation for the United States is 1,572 bottles.
The whisky is drawn mainly from remade casks, with a subtle influence from sherry casks and new American oak. The 2026 packaging has a smaller label of beige washi paper and a deep forest green.
The nose is fruity, with apple, citrus and sweet vanilla. The palate is rich and balanced, with malt sweetness alongside ripe fruit, and the finish is gently sweet and slightly bitter.
