Hibiki Japanese Harmony Master's Select is a blended Japanese whisky from Suntory, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It is built on Hibiki Japanese Harmony, with a larger share of sherry cask whiskies from Yamazaki.
The nose has honey, vanilla and fresh citrus, then apricot, mandarin marmalade and ripe white peach, with mizunara sandalwood, a little raisin and cocoa. The palate is round and full, with candied date, toffee, red berries and ripe apple, plus a light dark chocolate note from the sherry casks.
The finish is medium to long, with honeyed fruit, light wood and a hint of roasted tea.
