Hibiki Japanese Harmony (70cl, 43%)

Hibiki Japanese Harmony is a Japanese blended whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43%. It combines malt whiskies from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries with grain whisky from Chita. The components are drawn from five types of cask, among them American white oak, sherry and Mizunara oak. The blend was put together by the Suntory Whisky blending team under Master Blender Shingo Torii. The nose brings red berries, green apple and layers of rich honey. On the palate come melted butter and caramelised dates, with a touch of fragrant sandalwood that turns to warming, oaky spice. The finish carries brown sugar, citrus peel, white grape and black pepper.
