Equinox & Solstice Summer is the first 2021 bottling in a series of four from Whisky Sponge, each annual set carrying new artwork from a commissioned artist. This year's artwork is by E K Fitzgibbon. It is a 10 year old Edradour single malt from the Highlands, bottled at 48.5% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is a vatting of two first fill bourbon barrels, filled in 2010 and 2003. It is described as rich, sweet, spicy and robust, with the different ages balancing well.
