This is a 12-year-old Highland Park bottling called Viking Honour, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Highland Park is the most northerly distillery in Scotland, on Orkney.
The distillery takes pride in the Viking roots of the islands and has dedicated many bottlings to Viking figures and legendary heroes. This edition points to the direct Viking ancestry of its founder, Magnus Eunson, and to the way that heritage still shapes the landscape of the northern archipelago.
