Highland Park 18 Year Old Full-Bodied & Refined is matured for at least 18 years, mostly in first-fill sherry-seasoned European oak, alongside sherry-seasoned American oak and refill casks. It combines aromatic Orkney peat with sherry-seasoned wood.
The notes describe ripe cherries, orange zest and dried fruits with dark chocolate, salted honeycomb and rich toffee. Gentle heathery peat smoke and coastal salinity run alongside the sherried sweetness, and the long, warming finish carries cinnamon, nutmeg and polished oak.
