Refill remade American hogshead
This is a Highland Park single malt from the islands, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for its MacPhail's Collection series. It was distilled in 1989, matured in refill remade American hogsheads and bottled in 2016. Highland Park is described as combining honeyed sweetness, gentle peat smoke and aromatic complexity. Maturation in refill American oak lets the spirit's own character show, with citrus, vanilla and soft spice building over time.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
