Highland Park 30 Year Old Spring 2019 Release is a single malt bottled at 45.2%, made from fewer than 20 casks filled in 1989 and the years before.
Three types of cask went into it. First-fill ex-bourbon casks bring soft vanilla and honey with sharp citrus notes. First-fill sherry-seasoned casks add cooked fruit and warm spice. A small number of refill casks were then used to bring the flavours into harmony.
