Highland Park Daner is a 12-year-old single cask whisky from cask 3030, a European oak sherry butt from 2006. It is bottled at 63.3% ABV and yielded 623 bottles.
It is the fourth and last release in Highland Park's Danish Founders Series. Camilla Salvado, the brand's Danish manager, named it after the people who founded Denmark around the 500s.
The first impression is described as reserved and hard-hitting, followed by a welcoming warmth, and the whisky becomes gentler with a little time in the glass.
