Highland Park Ice Edition is a 17 year old single malt from Orkney, bottled at 53.9%. It is a release of 30,000 bottles themed around Norse mythology and the Ice Realm. The bottle is a deep blue meant to recall glittering ice, shaped to suggest the sharpness and chill of that realm, and it sits inside a mountain-shaped oak case. The flavour is rich and true to Highland Park: lightly smoked peat alongside vanilla seeds and a note of melted orris root, all in balance.
