The Dark is a 17-year-old Highland Park from Orkney, bottled at 52.9% ABV and the first release in a new series from the distillery. It was matured in European oak casks that previously held sherry.
It comes in a black embossed glass bottle. The design draws on the Norse sagas, and the runic script echoes ancient carvings left by the Vikings' ancestors on Orkney.
