An Irish whiskey from the Hinch Whiskey Company, aged for five years and made as a Double Wood expression. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is sweet and creamy, with sharp lemon zest, vanilla cream and a little tobacco. On the palate it is smooth and creamy, with cinnamon, oak spice and mocha, the slight bitterness of the mocha setting off the fruity sweetness. The finish is long and honeyed, with fresh fruit, melon and milk chocolate, and a lingering touch of spice.
