Hinch – Irish Single Malt Bourbon and Oloroso (70cl, 43%)

Hinch Single Malt is an Irish single malt bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from the Hinch distillery in County Down, Northern Ireland, and was matured in ex-bourbon casks of American oak and in ex-Oloroso sherry casks before the whiskeys were vatted together. The distillery was founded with the aim of joining the softness of triple-distilled Irish whiskey with the boldness of the Scottish tradition. The nose is described as candied orange, honey and a touch of ginger, with toffee apples, sponge cake and peach syrup on the palate. The long finish brings vanilla with citrus and honey.
