Hinch Peated Irish Whiskey (70cl, 43%)

Hinch Peated is a triple-distilled Irish whiskey with a distinct peat character, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It comes from Hinch Distillery in County Down, Northern Ireland. The distillery was founded on the idea of bringing together the best of Irish and Scottish whisky traditions: the softness that triple distillation gives an Irish whiskey, and the boldness associated with Scottish whisky. The nose is smoky and woody, with caramelised oak. On the palate there is a hint of liquorice and peat, roasted nuts and soft sherry notes. The finish is notably smooth.
