Hine XO 1er Cru is a cognac made entirely from Grande Champagne, bottled at 40% ABV. The house of Hine is based in Jarnac and was founded in 1763. The eaux-de-vie in the blend average around 20 years old.
Time in oak brings vanilla, oak spice and toffee, while the fruit and floral notes stay lively. The colour is deep amber.
The nose combines roasted nectarines, ripe apricots and melon with vanilla, honey, oak, warm spice and jasmine. The palate is smooth and velvety, with stone fruit, caramel, a touch of ginger and oak. The finish is long, with dried fruits, sweet oak and soft spice.
