This is a 5 year old single malt from Holyrood Distillery in Edinburgh, bottled independently in 2026 for the Infrequent Flyers series at 60.1% ABV. It was distilled in 2021.
It was matured in a single first-fill ex-bourbon barrel, which gave 274 bottles. The active oak adds vanilla, honey, coconut and gentle spice, while Holyrood's fresh, fruit-driven spirit stays to the fore.
Bright orchard fruit and sweet malt are the main character here.
