Holyrood Distillery – Noir Collection Bordeaux Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This is a single malt Scotch whisky from Holyrood Distillery in Edinburgh, released as the Bordeaux bottling in its Noir Collection. The distillery is the first working whisky distillery in central Edinburgh since 1925, set in a railway shed built in 1831 on the edge of Holyrood Park. Founder Rob Carpenter first had the idea in 2013, and with his wife Kelly and co-founder David Robertson he made it real in 2019. Its aim is to explore new recipes using heritage malts, specialty malts and different yeasts.
