A 16 year old American whiskey made by Hooten Young in collaboration with Jack Carr, the former Navy SEAL and author of The Terminal List series. It is a limited edition.
The whiskey is bottled straight from the barrel at 125 proof, and its mash bill is 99% corn and 1% barley.
On the nose it shows baked apple, vanilla bean, dark caramel and toasted oak. The palate brings clove, brown sugar, cinnamon, leather and warm baking spices, followed by a long, warming finish of oak char, sweet corn and barrel spice.
