House of Peers Blended Malt Scotch Whisky is a blended malt from Hunter Laing, bottled at 46% ABV. It was matured in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose is rich with toffee, butterscotch and caramel, strong vanilla, and dark fruit such as prune and fig, with hints of orange and mandarin. On the palate come orange marmalade, spice and barley malt, with grapefruit, honey and vanilla, sweet but with a zesty edge. The finish is long, warming and spicy, with oak and a burst of pepper.
