Back Room Deal is a straight rye whiskey from Hudson Whiskey, aged in ex-bourbon barrels.
Those barrels are first sent across the Atlantic to age peated whiskey, then emptied and returned to the distillery, where they are filled again with the rye.
The whiskey is described as having a bit of smoke and a bit of spice.
