Hwayo X Premium is a rice whisky bottled at 41% ABV. It is made by ageing undiluted Hwayo rice spirit in American oak casks and ex-bourbon casks, which places it among the rarer styles of whisky in the world.
Because it is distilled from rice rather than barley, it offers something different to long-time whisky drinkers, and it also appeals to people who avoid gluten.
