Indri Dru Cask Strength Batch 5 is an Indian single malt from the Indri distillery in the Himalayas, bottled and released in 2024 in a 70cl bottle at 57.2%.
The whisky matured exclusively in ex-bourbon barrels. The oldest casks used are believed to be seven to nine years old, a considerable age in a country where casks can lose more than 10% a year to evaporation.
It is described as fruity and herby, with balancing spices and notes of tobacco.
