This is a 26-year-old Invergordon bottled by The Caskhound, a German independent bottler, at 50.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is one of the first releases in the Grainhound series.
The whisky was given a finish in a red wine cask, and the bottling is limited to 143 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose is described as dark fruit sweetness with spice, fudge, winey acidity and a touch of orange. On the palate, stewed dark fruit meets toffee, plum butter with cinnamon, tobacco and dark chocolate cream. The finish is long and warming, with cocoa, malty sweetness and orange peel.
