Irishman Single Malt is an Irish single malt from Walsh Whiskey Distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 40% abv. It has added colouring and has been chill-filtered.
The whisky was matured in American and European oak, in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose is ripe and fruity with juicy peach, tropical fruit and dried apricots, with creamy malt sweets, vanilla cream and caramel toffee in the background. On the palate come sweet vanilla, burnt almonds and honey, with gentle oak, cocoa and apricot. The finish is long, lightly malty and sweet, ending on dark chocolate.
